Hi Gert,

I have the same issues in not being able to get the keys working.
I had them working yesterday and now nothing.
Everything is connected and recognised.

My .ini file contains the line "USBKeys=13,57"

My script contains the line "Var 50, name CDUKey, Link USB_KEYS, device 13"

Before version 1.15 this always read "Var 50, name CDUKey, Link USB_KEYS" with no device number.

From version 1.15 on it now says "Var 50, name CDUKey, Link IOCARD_KEYS, device xx", which seems to assume the use of the new OC CDU. I have the old one.

I have checked both IP addresses and they are correct per SIOC.

Any ideas you have are appreciated.

Thanks

Hello Ron,

You are right, the code in the script has changed from version 1.15 and this is for the newer versions so you don't have to change your script file.
You said that it was working yesterday and now it doesn't, so the problem is not in your ini file or script file.

What was changed between yesterday and today?
Did you plug the CDU in another USB port?

Gert

HI Gert,

Nope I changed nothing, Only thing I did on the sim was wired up the Gear/Flap/Terr inhibit switches via a pokeys card.
Nothing unusual happened during that installation to my knowledge

It is working again now, after I cleared the script and reloaded it. Hope I don't have to do that everytime.
I'm beginning to think I may have some sort of conflict somehwere, but I haven't a clue.

Thanks again for your help.

1st computer, FSX,jetstream738,fsuipc/wideFs,Prosim1.20 ,Opencocpits MCP and 2 EFIS
2nd computer,OPencockpits,TCAS ,2 NAV ,1 ADF,and COM, wideclinte,, all works fine but the TCAS Module switches

Hello John,

There are some switches on your TCAS module, but only the mode switch and IDENT button can be configured in ProSim. The XPNDR and ALT SOURCE switches don't have any function in ProSim.

I suppose you already have a script file for the transponder module?
If you can send it to me, I can tell you which variables you need to configure in ProSIm.

Hello John,

Normally, on your second computer where the TCAS module is connected, you run the sioc.exe program.
Sioc needs a script file, so it knows what to do.
If you look in the sioc folder, you will find a sioc.ini file. This is the configuration file for sioc. In this file, you can find the filename of the script file.

Can you send or post the sioc.ini file? If I got it, I can tell you which file is the script file.
Normally you can find the sioc folder here: C:\Program Files\IOCards\SIOC

Gert
