NDB showing but not the to/from arrow

Post by cbruce » 15 Jan 2019, 17:49

I have the TUCA NDB (identifier IG freq 410) showing ok if I consult under INIT REF/Nav info/Navaids, it is about 7 miles from sao paulo garulhos airport (SBGR), but on my ND it does not show the To/From arrow to/from the NDB.

Any idea how to correct this?

Best

All working fine

At what distance you were from the NDB? If far away, P3D can still have the ident, but not direction finder info...

It is only about 10 miles from departure at SBGR (27L at sao paulo garulhos) but it does not show on departure nor as far as I remember when you approach and pass it, but it does pick it up later when approaching 09R!

NDBs and VORs (particularly the short range ones) don't show up on the ground unless you are quite close to them I think.
What happens once you get airborne by a few thousand feet - does it then come up?

Thanks, I will give it another test to be 100% sure whether or not it appears after takeoff
