Hello Matt

Are you keen to paint some military liveries ?

RAAF Poseidon comes to mind.

Dirty 737

Post by willow » 08 Jul 2019, 11:48

Hello Matt

Another idea is a dirty 737.

Whether this is an overlay (mask) that can be applied to any paint livery, or perhaps a vanilla white-coloured 737 with the dirty elements applied.

I believe Lapi may have done a similar paint sometime ago.

What do you think. Thanks, WilloW

Hi Michael,
If you press Shift+E (2,3 etc) in P3D you will see nothing happen outside on the Prosim aircraft. If you have placed the supplied .lua files into the Modules folder and followed Lapi's instructions. You can then use TAB+1,2,3,4,5,6 to open all of the model's doors. (These small files also allow you to operate the landing light switches correctly) You will see the doors operate (in turn) when you exit the aircraft and look around.
Also, you need to copy and then replace the small GSX file that Lapi supplied, into your User roaming Vitari (spelling) folder for the Prosim 737-800 PBR aircraft. This aligns the GSX stairs and jetways to the doors of the model and also uses custom checking to confirm the doors are open or shut. (I'm having a problem with EXIT 1 at the moment but otherwise everything else works well.)
It has been a while since I did that but I'm sure Lapi supplied instructions in the included Read me files.
Hope that helps.

Hello all and sorry I haven't been posting lately.
I am still currently working on our 737 sim at the moment. Trying to work out why it keeps crashing.
So I am not currently painting any aircraft. My wife also is doing a lot of studying too on the PC I use to paint on..... so I have no where to work.

Once I get time I will look at painting again. As always post any requests you have and I will look into it in the near future.

Kind regards
Matthew
