Yes, Bernie, that was what I meant.

I own both, but I am more than pleased with the textures and prefer to use the extra resources for UT Live and higher graphic settings.

I have a full cockpit, (as most of the guys here do) and REX runs beautifully on three projectors.

I can't imagine the issue with the cloud texture, as I flew into EDDN today and was using ORBX1 weather, which is stormy and hazy. I came down through the clouds which started at 4000 feet and didn't break cover until I was at 300 feet. It was the most realistic moment I've had in my sim for such a long time.
I did video it, but I'm waiting to edit it, so it may be a little while, as I'm knocking up some new tops and tails on my youtube site for 2019.

Regards,

Frank

Hello Bernie,

i use ASP and previously AS 2016 with ASCA for a very long time.
And I find it very gentle FPS. Also, adding the radar to Prosim is very easy with a small entry in the FSUIPC.ini. I could help you to create this entry. The important thing is simply that ProsimSystem is not installed in the (x86) folder. The ASCA textures I find very nice and successful. I was never really satisfied with neither REX nor Opus.

But much is just a matter of taste as always with such things.

Best regards
Urs

Hi Frank,
It was only certain clouds, if you take a quick look at the video at 5minutes and 15 seconds, you will see it.
Kind Regards

Bernie.

If you want to see the flight radar in combination with ASP4 and ASCA in action, here is a short video from my side:

https://youtu.be/xtpwP0o9QVs

You can see the effect when flying throught the clouds and the reflections on the ND with the WXR option.

Hi Markus,

Thank you so much, very impressive simulator, from what I could see, the depiction was very accurate. I can’t wait now, if I had not had a leaky toilet last night, I would be enjoying the new weather engine today, oh well, tomorrow it will be done. :D
Kind Regards

Bernie.

Hello Maurizio,

I'll mention here as soon as possible.

I'm just a little busy in the job.

But it will come.
