Prosim737-800 Flight Model and Visual Model

Post by Lapi » 08 Jan 2015, 16:21

Hi ProSimmers,

After a long wait, I'm glad to let you know that the new Prosim 738 model will be released on the 19th of January.

As the "Jetstream" brand or name used to be a common venture with another company, this time the model will be renamed as ""Prosim737-800 Flight Model and Visual Model™".
The model comes as certified by Boeing.

It contains:
a new flight model
a new visual model
a new sound-set

The installer comes in four different versions.
Separate installers will be available for FSX and P3Dv2.

There will be:
- a "regular" version for home users -
- and a "Professional" version

Existing Jetstream users get the update automatically.
There will be no FS9 version anymore.

regards
Lapi

Fantastic news!

Is there any differens exept howe you can use the model between the pro and home user version

Will ther be a list of the improvements and changes?

And will ther be room for improvement even that you have worked so long with it. I mean with let's say textures ore something? This question maby goes for Larylynx.

There are some differences but hardly noticeable for the average user.
The Pro model contains some important lookup-tables that are doubled in size, so in theory the model is a bit more refined.
This might be important for some pro users who need to log some QTG or similar data for certification purposes.
The pro version is a bit harder to hand-fly, as it is more optimized for SE operations.

I hope Steve can jump in to answer things related to the external model.

Hi lapi, dont understant at all. The pro model in hand fly is more real than the normal one?, or in the hand fly is not realistic because is designed to be realistic for SE OPERATIONS?

Sounds great, looking forward to the release.

What about landing and taxi light, has this been upgraded so it's on the level as rest of the Prosim suite ?

Finally we got it ! :D

Just a question: would it be possible to get the Pro version for a non-pro user? (obviously paying the difference..)
