(FLIGHT MODEL 2019) During rotation aircraft slams back to the ground and stops

Post by Driver170 » 15 Feb 2020, 13:13

Soon as my main wheels liftoff the ground the aircraft slams back down and instantly stops. I tried to do another rotation but same thing. I then tried P3D default aircraft for a test and it got airborne normally.

I have no idea what is causing this flight model to slam back to ground and stop when just after liftoff

Hi Vernon,

It happens that fast that it seems to be like repositioning rather than the aircraft dropping. Do you always use a saved flight to start and if so have you tried a totally new flight.
Kind Regards

Bernie.

Hi Vernon,

I am good and I hope you are also. :D I guess this is either going to be real hard to work out or real easy  have you tried with a new XML file in P3D meaning, let it rebuild a new file.obviously something that is save that is related to the Prosim model is the culprit and finding where all these things are will probably get you to the heart of the problem.
Kind Regards

Bernie.

I restarted P3D this morning and its working again. Seems like restarting the sim solves it temporarily

Vernon,

Are you using TOPCAT to set aircraft weight?

Got it solved. UGCX was causing this due to not disconnecting the gear pin

I'm amazed that you managed to taxi to the active with the gear pin in lol. Glad you got it solved.
