a320 fde model merge

Post by a320x » 05 Jan 2017, 17:56

Dear prosim team,

First of all happy new year and congratulations for your a320 release.
I want to use an a320 .air and aircraft.cfg files with your model.
The reason i want to do this is that i have create these two files after a five year
developing and research based on real a320 charts and data.
what sections i must edit in my files to much the correct operation of the plane with your model and the glass cockpit?
I imagine i need to edit the contact points, electrical, effects, exits and the lights and probably inside ,air file the
records "540, 543, 544, 1532". Are these sufficient or i must do some extra things?
Many thanks in advance.

You may try all that but most probably it will not be successful.
If you've read the flight-model manual, it explicitly mentions that those kind of experiments will be probably unsuccessful.

The ProSim A320 system is tuned to the flight model of ours, the model is tuned to the system, so probably your only choice remains to use the two together.
If you flew the 737, I'd say you might be able to do that but a FBW plane is very different and needs the coordination between system and dynamics.

Please don't misunderstand me, but at the same time you also need to be aware that any modification of our files, specially named sections of the .air file is unfortunately a direct copyright violation and it is against the user agreement that you have agreed upon by installing our product.

regards

Also

Your calculations and ours are based on an aircraft reference point which is set by me and will no doubt be very different from the one used by yourself.
